The very beginning of the track starts with a rolling hill, preventing the user from building up speed (which is what you want to hook the user). Once you get to the top there are lots of 90-degree turns which again prevent you from getting up any kind of speed. Then when it is time for a descent there is no payoff like a large jump or super speed through gentle turns. I think you’ve gotten a great start with your unique look, just spend some more time on creating more diverse levels and you’ll have a winner. :)Derek M. Are you using the filtered OS version of the mouse rather than raw inputs? I can’t even tell that, because you didn’t lock the mouse position! As soon as I move more than 5 degrees from the default look direction, my mouse leaves the window and turns back into a web browser cursor. Did you even test this? Then robots come in and kill me before I can kill them. All this does is discourage people from even TRYING the tutorial, since the end result will be something ugly and broken. I can’t TELL if the aiming is smooth or jerky or precise or floaty. I can’t TELL if the gameplay is well balanced or not. This whole project, or maybe just the way it’s presented, is making Unity look bad to people who want to learn how to use Unity! Why is it like this? Why are you like this, Unity Team?
